Tajimamihonoura

Tajimamihonoura

Tajimamihonoura is a coast from the mouth of the Kishida river in Shin’onsen town to Izasa Cape in Kami town, stretching about 8 km from east to west. A wealth of different rocks and strata, which are related to the process of the formation of the Japanese archipelago, create a unique view, and visitors can observe a range of sea caves, strangely-shaped rocks and bizarre stones. It was designated as a national natural monument and place of scenic beauty in 1934.
